An elegant six-sided container with openwork top designed with leaves and foliage for venting the vinaigrette. The hinged base is fitted with an etched stone seal with the image of a woman and the motto "in te domine speravi" or "In thee O Lord have I set my Hope". It opens to wet the sponge. The sides are engraved with simple designs, there are no markings. Measurements of 1 x 1/2 inches.
