A very fine example with crisp gold reserves among white enameled florals and foliage against a black ground. The domed book form is accented by raised scrolls at each corner and opens to reveal a handsome gold grille of cross-hatch pattern. Ram's head hallmark to the inside frame. Measurements of 1 x 7/8 inches.
Condition reportExcellent, complete, tight clasp and hinge, very minor touch-up to black enamel areas found under magnification.
