Ball shaped, the two hinged halves open by jeweled catch to reveal a fine saw-pierced and engraved grille. The exterior is profusely enameled in numerous colors among extensive engraved designs. The top is crowned with a set jewel. French or Swiss, circa 1860. Measurements of 1 x 1 1/4 inches.
