A nicely colored coiled horn example topped by a citrine-colored stone on the hinged cover deeply chased with thistle and leaves, stamped below the cover with Edinburgh hallmark, maker mark of W D & Co, date mark of 1898-9, the horn body mounted with a silver shield. Measurements of 2 1/4 x 1 inches.
Condition reportExcellent, noting some looseness to the hinge and a soft closure, complete, no damage or abuse, no repair.
