An outstanding pendant form, pearl and jewel set example circa 1840. A covered basket form with guilloche' enamels of green with sprays of flowers and trimmed in white, jeweled finial and catch, hung by a matching tubular link chain set with pearls, inside is an elaborately saw-pierced gold grille with engraved highlights. Exceptional quality and beauty throughout. No markings found. Measurements of 2 1/4 x 1 1/2 inches.

Excellent, complete, slightly loose clasp, good hinge, no damage or repair.
