A very fine example with crisp gold reserves among white enameled florals and foliage against a black ground. The domed book form is accented by raised scrolls at each corner and opens to reveal a gorgeous saw-pierced and stippled gold grille worked to a matte finish. Eagle head hallmark to the inside frame. Measurements of 1 1/4 x 1 inches.
