A rare standing compendium with wax seal, the main body is engraved overall and has scattered faint gilt highlights. Unscrewing at several points, it's topped with an engraved and stippled thimble, there's also the cotton spool, a wax holder, a powder container, and a seal with the letter M. Measures 4 x 1 inches, unmarked, continental probably German.
Condition reportExcellent, complete, tight clasp and hinge, no damage or abuse, no monogram or engraving.
