1878 CORNUCOPIA FORM STERLING VINAIGRETTE

A sterling silver vinaigrette scent bottle in cornucopia form with heavily chased fruit bounty top that opens to reveal the cut-out grille, maker's marks and lion are found on the cover, the grille and inside the vinaigrette. The swirled pattern body bears full marks including London and date for 1878 -9, a registry mark is on the front side. The end unscrews for filling. Measurements of 3 x 1 1/2 inches.

Excellent, complete, tight clasp and hinge, no damage or abuse, no monogram or engraving, powdery discoloration to interior.
