An unusual piece by this Birmingham maker noted for his vinaigrettes. The uncommon agate front opens to a saw-pierced and engraved gilt silver grille that opens to reveal the sponge box with full hallmarks for Nathan Mills, Birmingham, 1840's (date mark is unclear). Measurements of 1 x 3/4 inches.
Condition reportExcellent, complete, tight clasp and hinge, no damage or abuse, no repair.
