A delicately worked sterling thistle chased and finely stippled for a beautiful visual effect. On its side is the pre-1885 registry mark and on the stem is a city mark for Edinburgh. The hinged cover opens to a bright gilt interior with removable grille, a chain with double links and finger loop. Measurements of 2 x 1 inches.
