A nice, large Viennese example with cobalt enamels highlighted with gold tracery. The hinged cover opens to reveal a round lift-out grille and gilt interior, inside the lid hallmarks of A and LP, presumably that of Viennese artisan Ludwig Pollitzer. Measurements of 2 x 1 inches.
Condition reportExcellent, complete, tight clasp and hinge, no damage or repair, excellent.
