Deluxe Celestron - Celestar 8" Schmidt Cassegrain Telescope with Star Bright Coatings, Fastar with the Advanced Astro Master computer, cables and software, the weighty heavy duty tripod, excellent optics, tracks in Solar, Lunar, Sidereal and King Rate for Astrophotography. All Manuals from Celestron are included. Also included is the Advanced Astromaster Computer with a 10,000 object database - see other images for a run down on specs. The Manual for the computer is included. Also included a 26mmCelestron Plossl-1 1'4" eyepiece, multi-coated and a 15mm Scopetronix Plossl in excellent condition. A Celestron Piggy Back camera mount attaches to the top of the scop for astrophotography using the telescope as a guiding platform. Also included is a Celestron Reducer/Corrector-f/6.3 model #94175. Cigarette lighter adaptor, Telescope can run off of batteries. One battery clip inside the telescope needs to be glued down it popped loose. Previous owner placed highly reflective tape on the heavy duty tripod for safety. The Telescope tube assembly is Fastar capable, may also be used as a camera lense for birding or for homes with a view. This telescope was used for many local teaching Astronomy programs in SW FL from 1998 onwards, but for the past 7yrs has remained idle. The owner decided to sell the scope due to her job which does not allow her to get out and observe and go to events like she once did yrs ago. The scope and components do work. Scope has been stored inside an air conditioned home and taken care of. Sold as is though.
