Inlaid Georgian knife box,

figured mahogany slant lid with fine light and dark line inlay, original interior with extensive barberpole inlay, late 18th/early 19th century, 14-3/4 in. Interior chip near lid, other scattered separations and veneer flaws and losses, some warped elements, portion of bottom replaced, retains most original hand wrought nails.
