two views of the Bay of Naples, one with busy port and Vesuvius smoking in the distance, another looking the other direction toward a large formal garden, both gouache on paper, Neopolitan School, 19th century, both 18-5/8 x 27 in.; fine matching Biedermeier neoclassical style fruitwood veneer and black-painted wood frames. Abrasions, one with Vesuvius with repair to 3 in. tear at bottom (paper tape verso); frames with abrasions.
