Paul V. Ambrose and Drew J. Bauer present: This is the #1868 Minneapolis & St. Louis Freight Set that Lionel made in 1978 as a special Service Station Special Set. This Set includes the #8866 Minneapolis & St. Louis GP-9 Diesel, the #9213 M & StL Quad Hopper, the #9726 Erie & Lackawanna Box Car, the #9408 Lionel Lines Circus Stock Car, the #9138 Sunoco Triple Dome Tank Car, and the #9271 M & StL bay window caboose. Our Opinion is that the Set is generally in Mint Condition, no signs of use, still sealed. A Crisp Set Box, minor wear. All Original in our Opinion.
