Lalique French Glass Sculpture Dancing Nudes

Lovely early-twentieth-century glass sculpture by renowned French designer Reneé Lalique shows a pair of female nudes entwined in dance. The figures are made from uncolored frosted glass that blend into a crystal-like base of clear glass. The rough-hewn modeling of the base is a delightful contrast to the smooth and frosty finish of the figures.
Dimensions: Approximately 10½"H x 6"W x 4½"D
Condition: Consistent with age; some soiling to figures in areas such as thigh, shoulder, and elbow; on base, some minor soiling and scratching.
