[Catalog Artwork] Over 1,000 original pen and ink illustrations commissioned by the National Magic Company. Primarily drawn and lettered by Nelson Hahne, these illustrations filled the pages of seminal magic catalogs emanating from Chicago through the first quarter of the 20th century. Subjects illustrated include practical jokes, parlor tricks, mind reading effects, card tricks, magic with coins, and much more. Many illustrations signed by Hahne, Tarbell and the other artists who inked them. 1920s-50s. Condition generally very good. Should be seen.
