[Poster] Kalanag (Helmut Schreiber). Kalanag. 1955. One-sheet (28 x 40") color lithographed poster. Depicts bathing beauty Gloria DeVos reclining on a large automobile, presumably the Hillman Minx sedan Kalanag vanished each night as part of his gigantic illusion show. Good condition with wear and small, unobtrusive tears to at extremities (easily repaired); overprinted in German with theatre and date information. An unusual example of this poster in that it has been overprinted and was used; most Kalanag posters that have survived the years were never posted, but rather sold as souvenirs.
