Signed lower right Z. Reynolds with a date of 1813, titled upper left A BACK VIEW OF THE HUMAN HEART. Actual sheet size of 15.5 X 12.75 inches. Zachariah Reynolds was born in Washington county, Pennsylvania and was well known for his penmanship. It has been recorded that he executed a series of ink and watercolor charts of the internal organs for Dr. Leatherman, of Houstonville, Pennsylvania. This is from a group of twenty works that recently surfaced in the possession of descendants of Zachariah Reynolds.

Good, not laid down, toning, fold lines and beginning tears at those lines.
