Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara, Sino-Tibetan style, late 19th or early 20th century. Cast bronze with gilt and polychrome. Height of 24 inches and width of 24 inches. The seated statue of the Bodhisattva of Compassion atop a lotus throne with four rows of upturned lotus petals, hands in the dhyana mudra of meditation atop of which is a small lidded spouted vase with loop handle, and headdress with small seated statue of the Buddha Amida.
