Description

We have offered here a 1943 Book titled "Thulia: A Tale of the Antarctic" by J. C. Palmer U. S. N. This book was written in prose by the Author during a voyage on this Schooner to at that time the furthest point South in the World. The story is told in Prose, and then has an appendix, which tells the tale of the Ship and Crew. It is illustrated with many engravings throughout, and comes in a Gold Embossed Leather Binding. It was published in New York by "Samuel Colman" in 1843, while the voyage took place in 1839. The cover shows wear commensurate with the age of the book, and it still makes a nice Antique Book, which is also an interesting read.
