J Griffith Paris Black Slate Mantle Clock: the time and gong striking movement is marked H.P. & Co, 19289 and 2996 over 57. The dial with visible escapement is 4 1/2" wide. The case has metal decorations and a plaque with dancing and musical scene in relief.

(Not tested, there is no pendulum. The dial is scratched and dirty. The case has some small and a large chip scattered about on the edges.)
