Antique cast iron enameled basting grill. This unique, antique kitchen cooking tool appears to have been designed to catch juices of what is being cooked, in a cup which is part way down the handle and the cup has a spout on the side, for which to pour out the juices. I was also designed so if the cup was filled and the handle was lifted it would baste the food on the grill. This "antique cooking tool" measures 22 inches long overall. The grill surface is approx. 9 and three quarters inches at the widest point by 8 and one half inches. The cup for catching measures 3 inches in diameter and is approx. 1 inch deep. This period piece is signed all around the top rim but we are unable to read what is says.
