MODERN Two ceramic sculptures, the larger titled ''Gold and Oil.'' 11 3/4'' x 9 1/2'' x 5 1/2'' and 14 1/2'' x 29 1/2'' x 4''

Neither piece is signed; the white piece (which resembles a penguin) is 12" tall with 9" 'wing' span; the right wing has been broken off and re-glued (see photos online.) On the black figure there are about 2-3 teeth missing, but the body and hands are intact. The black figure is separate from the incline. Also, upon further inspection, the human figure looks as though it has been broken off and re-glued – a thin line is visible around the base just above where it meets the incline.
