Framed Chinese painting, Cats in the Dark, attributed to Cao Kejia (1906-1979), ink and color on paper, upper right inscribed and signed, dated in Chinese (=1959 Children's Day), with one artist seal, Provenance: reputedly accquired directly from the artist in 1980 at Beijing by consignor's aunt, Yu Junhua, an instructor at The National Academy of Chinese Theatre (Zhongguo Xi Ju Xue Yuan)
