Chinese large Manchu 'chicken blood' stone seal, of square shape with slightly rounded top and edges, one side carved with four lines of Manchu, the opposite face with gilt-accented Chinese inscription 'Heshen' (possibly Heshen, 1750-1799, one of the grand councillor of the Qianlong Emperor) and dated 'Da Qing Qianlong sanshijiu nian' (Qianlong 39 year, =1774), the base with four line of Manchu, the stone of deep red tone with characteristic mushroon-colored inclusions (minor chips and surface scratches), with a hongmu stand, 2.25''h, 2.5''sq; Provenance: Estate of Mrs. Diana Engstrom, Northern California and Sweden
