Paul V. Ambrose and Drew J. Bauer present: This is the Original Set Box for the #1587S Girl's Set that Lionel made in 1957/58. This Set would have included the #2037-500 Pink Diecast Steam Engine with Smoke, Headlight and Magnetraction, the #1130T-500 Pink Tender, the #6462-500 Pink NYC Gondola with Canisters, the #6464-515 Buttercup Yellow Katy Box Car, the #6464-510 Blue-Green NYC Pacemaker Box Car, the #6436-500 Lilac Lehigh Valley Hopper, the #6427-500 Blue Pennsylvania N5C Caboose and the #1043-500 White Transformer. PLEASE REMEMBER THAT YOU ARE ONLY BIDDING ON THE ORIGINAL SET BOX. This Set Box is in (7+) Condition with some fading to the Pink and tape issues as shown; however, with some work and removal of the water-based tape, it could probably be a very solid (8). All Original in our Opinion. Please add $20.00 for US-48 Shipping and Insurance.
