Paul V. Ambrose and Drew J. Bauer present: This is the #6657 D&RG Illuminated Caboose that Lionel made in the later 1950s. It is the very scarce variation without ladder slots on a red body mold. We believe an attempt to clean the delicate silver-paint ended with fortunate/unfortunate results; a blemish on the roof is clearly shown in a specific picture but allows you to see that it is the rare red body mold. Our Opinion is that it is generally otherwise in Excellent Condition. No Box. All Original in our Opinion. Please add $12.00 for US-48 Shipping and Insurance.
