Paul V. Ambrose and Drew J. Bauer present: This is the #2028 Pennsylvania GP7-Diesel that Lionel made in 1955. This is the Earliest Production Tan-Painted Frame Variation with welded Handrails that are clearly shown in the pictures. Collectors long ago identified this item as the "tan" frame when in actuality the frame is in the dark-mauve family of color. Our Opinion is that this item is generally in Excellent Condition with no breaks. Better-than-average Gold Rubber-Stamped PENNSYLVANIA lettering with typical wear; however, there are well done post-Factory side-rail and end-rail touch-ups to the frame. No Box. Otherwise All Original in our Opinion. Please add $25.00 for US-48 Shipping and Insurance.
