Paul V. Ambrose and Drew J. Bauer present: This is a scarce "Carry-Pak" of approximately 50 Soldiers that Payton Products made in 1966; originally sold for .98 Cents thru Dime-Store outlets. Payton was the supplier to Lionel of most Military-related items, such as the notable Tank (used in Sears Set #9820) and other highly sought Uncatalogued Sets from the Period, but NOT Soldiers (MPC became the supplier of choice for Soldiers). See Lot 190 for further discussion of Soldiers. This plastic hinged-top Carry-Pak with handle is New and in (8+) Condition, but definitely shows signs of age; one of the bottom hinge-tabs is broken. A real trip down Memory Lane. Please add $12.00 for US-48 Shipping and Insurance.
