Art Nouveau gold, peridot and diamond serpent necklace by Krementz, designed of 14K woven and carved gold, the head and body ornamented by collet-set circular faceted peridots, the eyes set with diamonds, hidden V-spring and box clasp on back if the necklace, 17" with 2" drop, 36.1 g GW. (The companion bracelet is currently on exhibition at the American Folk Art Museum, New York, The National Jewelry Institute "Masterpieces of American Jewelry," until January 23, 2005).
