"FRENCH LOUIS XVI STYLE MARBLE TOP WALNUT COMMODE, C. 1865, H 36"", L 41"", D 18 1/4"":Having a speckled salmon colored marble top, bronze ormolu and marquetry inlay. The top portion consists of three small drawers, which are above a door on either side, and the middle section having two larger drawers. The piece is decorated with gilded bronze ormolu, handles and escutcheons. Includes key. Item is said to be from the Estate of Winifred Dodge Seyburn." (rev.20090116)

"Some slight damage to the veneer at the left portion (between the drawer and door) along with a small loss on the leg with some cracking to the veneer evident in several places. Overall, the piece is nicely intact. The lock from the middle drawer is also missing. RG one inch chip to marble on left side." (rev.20090116)
