Wonderful compilation of sixty half-tone photographs of Remington's best. J T Reynolds-style cloth slipcase and leather name plate, New York: R.H. Russell, 1897, 1897. First Edition. One of 250 numbered copies signed by the artist. Oblong folio; publisher's suede; only minor wear and foxing; an excellent copy in the original printed cardboard box (some cracking and wear); in a custom clamshell box. Rare in this condition; the binding is usually broken or repaired and the fragile suede often worn; the box nearly always lacking. A tiny numbered label on the box matches the number on the signed label.
