Stunning two-tone Visalia Stock Saddle Co., San Francisco batwings with inlaid stars, longhorns & swastikas. Adorned with 6 decorative slotted conchos on each leg, 2 on the pocket and 3 on the billet. The billet has been repaired and reinforced, otherwise, very good condition, c 1920s, PROVENANCE: 1976 letter from Mrs. Romer Zane Grey confirming that the Chaps were purchased by Charles Rudicel, owners of the Zane Grey homestead in Altadena, Calif directly from the Zane Grey Corporation
