Keyston's top of the line 1941 San Francisco saddle was priced at a whopping $1800 – comparable with most high-end Bohlins of that era. The two-tone floral California saddle is fully mounted with heavy gauge sterling silver and features raised gold horseheads on the corner plates, horn, bridle and breastcollar. All the silver is intricately and artistically engraved, the cantle and gullet have a decorative silver rope edge. The Golden Gate model is described in the 1941 Keyston catalog as a masterpiece of fine workmanship and materials… combined in a creation of unsurpassed beauty, distinction and elegance. The saddle is in very fine condition, the bridle and breast collar are all original with some reinforcements to the leather. Original black & white wool corona is included
