Fabulous, Edw H Bohlin Cluster Supreme Saddle with matching Serape, Bridle and Breast collar. Made on a Miles City Tree with 16" swells, 16" seat, 16" x 30" skirt, 12" wide fenders, and 28" long tapaderos, Pelican horn. Made with square silver conchas divided into four sections making many facets which create light reflection. The saddle is extremely brillant and decidedly different than anything exhibited in the show ring. The workmanship and materials are the best quality obtainable… 1953 Bohlin Saddlery Catalog. 3-dimensional Indian heads on the serapes, tapaderos and breast collar. Stunning new Bohlin bridle was commissioned by Mike Kammerer with heavy gauge Bohlin sterling silver, built by Santa Fe's Clint Mortenson at a purported cost to Mike Kammerer in excess of $15,000. Parade ensemble was priced in early 1950s at a whopping $8,000 – at the same time that you could buy a nice house in West Los Angeles or even Beverly Hills for about the same price.
