Sol Star (John Hawkes) Deadwood Series Outfit

This outfit was custom-made for Sol Star (John Hawkes) for use in the HBO series DEADWOOD. This complete costume, consisting of a navy linen shirt, brown velvet vest, green plaid jacket and striped pants was seen in this combination during Season 3, Episode 1, however, all elements of this costume were worn in various combinations throughout seasons 2 and 3, This is the only existing green plaid jacket of Star's, and is trimmed with $75/yard 19th century antique braid. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from the costume house, which supplied and tailored a majority of the wardrobe for the series.
