American Rococo Revival Laminated Rosewood Settee, in the pattern referred to as "Henry Ford", attributed to J. and J. W. Meeks, New York, third quarter 19th century, the back with a tall pierced and carved floral crest over diamond-tufted gold and navy striped upholstery, the serpentine seat with a central carved cartouche and raised on cabriole legs, h. 50-1/4", w. 67", d. 38".
Condition
In good condition. There is an old repaired crack at the right side of the crest. Some shrinkage and small open cracks to the wood from age. Minor dings and imperfections from use. Appears to retain its original finish. Fabric is excellent.
