Leather-bound handwritten record of the Second Artillery Brigade, Veracruz, Mexico, obtained "From the Castle of San Juan de Ulloa VeraCruz, April 13, 1847." - Cover 43pp, in Spanish, 1838-1839, during the time of the Pastry War between France and Mexico when France blockaded Mexico's east coast seaports. Numerous descriptions of the supplies delivered, signed and often stamped by the Treasury Dept.
