187: Sue Bolt, Michigan, 8 Pieces Art Pottery
Sue Bolt, Michigan artist and graduate of Cleveland Institute of Arts, has her own shop with two other family members in Charlevoix, Michigan. She is well known for her angel artwork and produces a monthly ceramic tile. Here is a bowl with a womans face in the center with rising sunflowers. Done in a mixture of brown, yellow, blue and pink. There is another sunflower on the side of the bowl; 2.5" H x 11" Dia. Two small glaze chips on the rim. Both vases in blue and white glaze, largest is a multitude of abstract designs; 9" H x 5" Dia. Smaller vase is design of a young girl, dog and flowers; 5" H x 4" Dia. Both have crazing and largest has 1/4" glaze chip on the lip. Large plate in blue and white, house scene; 10.5" Dia.1/2" chip on rim. Another house scene on smaller plate; 8.5" Dia. A larger plate/bowl with a tree with birds; 9.5" Dia. A small bowl/plate with 3 flowers; 8" Dia. and lastly a small plate with a bird on a branch; 6" Dia. All pieces signed and in excellent condition unless otherwise noted.
