(Barent Gael (also Gaal), Dutch, 1620-1703): landscapes, both with riders and horses outside a tavern or cottage, one signed middle right on balcony "B. Gael", one signed lower left beside man in green "B. Gael", oil on canvas, both 12-3/4 x 10 in.; matching baroque style gilt wood and composition frames with frame plates. Both with older lining, retouch under heavy varnish mostly at edges, one with retouch within area of figures, both with less than 5 percent of surface affected, crackle, minor cupping, minor flaking at edges, frame abrasions, craquelure.
