Hal Riegger earned his B.S. and M.A. degrees at the New York State College of Ceramics and Ohio State University. He has taught ceramics for years and wrote three books on the subject. He was also the first American to begin to explore the technique of raku. Vase has a flowing light blue and purple luster glaze on a ringed flaring body. 13" H x 8.5" Dia. Signed H.
