Description: One-piece skull with low file-rope comb, pointed visor and upper and lower bevors pivoted at the same points on both sides, the cusped upper edge pierced with trefoils, the upper bevor perced with trefoils and hearts, rass locking hook and stud; two front and rear gorget-plates, the lower one's with turned rope-edge, the front-plate with Nuremberg mark and maker's mark. Double line decoration on nearly all parts. Brass plume-holder.Provenance: Christie's sale, London, February 1991.
