c. 1907, believed to be the largest produced Limousine ever made and regarded by the world's most advanced collectors as a true masterpiece of a toy. For years it has been noted as a French made example, but the Great Book of Tin Toys, author David Pressland, appears to have information that it was made by Hispania of Barcelona, Spain. It's hand detailed craftmanship makes this auto a timeless example of toys to be admired as sheer artistry. Nothing was left to the imagination by its designers from meticulous pinstriping, rubber tires, beaded upholstered seating, front cranking clockwork mechanism, ornate wire luggage rack, glass windows and overwhelming scale, it has been pictured with Peter Ottenheimer and Count Coluzzi attesting to its early tenure of distinguished collector circles, and was a fitting addition to the exemplary Don Kaufman Collection. 22 1/2'' overall.
