Description: 5½x3½.The famous James Braid postcard illustrated on page 42 of Rowley, Famous Golf Postcards, showing Open Champion James Braid playing several sequence shots made from 23 photographs showing how Braid played the game. The postcard mailed form St. Andrews, postmarked 1907, is addressed to Mr. James Govan at St. David's Golf Club, Radnor Pa. Govan was formerly of St. Andrews, and in 1913 would become the long time professional and clubmaker at Pine Valley Golf Club.
