A CONTINENTAL CARVED WALNUT CHEST, possibly Scandinavian, the rectangular hinged lid with forged iron flat spade tip hinges, opening to a simple interior with a hidden keep box, within side panels of florettes enclosing scrolling foliage in relief on a molded base. Old restorations. Height: 18 1/2", width: 47 1/4", depth: 18 1/8".
