Sterling Silver Snuff Box with Hunt Scene, English
Birmingham, 1868 date letter, with sponsor's mark for George Unite, the hinged cover with engraved fox hunt scene, bold strapwork engraving to bottom and sides, also with an applied floral scroll repousse rim to cover, gold washed interior. 6.8 troy ozs. 1" x 4" x 2.5" From the collection of Dr. & Mrs. Petrie of Pittsboro, North Carolina.

Condition report

Appears to have an old solder repair at the back corner, otherwise with only the expected light wear and surface scratches due to age.
