London, 1785, oval form with pierced edge and conforming foot; the swing handle, outer edge, and foot with applied bands of beading; the center with bright cut engraved heraldic crest of a winged cherub above the monogram "ET." Hallmarks to rim and handle. 22.8 troy ozs. 11" x 13.5" x 9.5" Descended in the Talbot family of Maryland. From a Richmond, VA collection.
