Probably early 20th century, signed '"Ch Levy'' (Charles Octave Levy, d. 1899, French), depicting an Orientalist woman with a sword, on an integral plinth, 32.5'' H x 17.5'' W x 10'' D, est:$6000/9000. Note: This model is illustrated P. Kjellberg. ''Bronzes of the 19th Century'', Atglen, 1994, p. 439. This model sold Sotheby's London, April 16, 2002, lot 100 (4,541 British Pounds Sterling). Another example sold Dallas Auction Gallery, September 13, 2006, lot 184 ($9,000). A third example sold Christie's London, June 26, 2007, lot 138 (7,200 British Pounds Sterling). Condition

With a medium brown patina to surface overall. Nicely cast. General marks, scratches, rubbing and light dirt accumulation overall. With some spotty and oxidation to base. AS-IS. ALL SALES FINAL
