first edition, aquatint frontispiece (bound after preface), hand-coloured engraved plan,18 aquatint plates and vignettes, 9 hand-coloured, 6 with overslips (2 double-page) and 1 with overpage, 1 plate and 1 vignette tinted, some light offsetting from plates but otherwise a very good copy, contemporary half russia, spine gilt, rubbed, spine a little worn and defective, covers detached, [Abbey Scenery 55], folio, by T.Bensley for J.C.Stadler, and sold by Boydell & Co...., 1808.
